The DP4800e is a digital two way radio from Motorola. Designed for use in a variety of different working environments, the DP4800e has both a 5-Line coloured screen and a full keypad. Coming as standard with a 1400mAh NiMH battery, this will allow for 10 hours of digital use from the DP4800e. Should you need longer lasting batteries, a 1650mAh Li-Ion or IMPRES smart battery are available at an additional cost.

With 1000 channel spaces, a Tri-Coloured LED gives clear visual feedback on radio operating status. Built to IP68 standard, the DP4800e has full ingress against dust whilst also being protected from immersion in water for long periods. MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G means the DP4800e is rugged and reliable, and able to operate in some of the worst working environments.

There are many features pre-installed onto the DP4800e. VOX Voice Activation allows for hands free communication when using the radio, transmit interrupt allows for a message to be instantly broadcast to all radios on the network, in case of emergency or should something need to be relayed to the entire workforce this function will interrupt all communications.
